Hey guys it’s Iain here from Kamalifestyles. I’m back with yet another video for you today. So today, I wanted to draw your attention to a question I got from a guy I was coaching a few days ago. The question was as follows..
Q: Why do I freeze up when I speak in front of girls? I start conversations but I freeze afterwards.
A: Freezing up during conversations with girls we are attracted to, is something that happens often than most guys would care to admit. Trust me, I have had a fair share of it too back then when I was still figuring out the dating world. Attraction is such a powerful phenomenon that takes up our power of being ourselves at the time we need it the most.
Speak in front of girls
Communication is an essential aspect of every interaction. It’s equally vital to maintain it as it is to start it. Whilst this does not come easy for most men, especially when it is an attractive girl in question, here are a few tips you can employ to avoid freezing up and ease your way through a conversation.
Embrace small talk.
Not many men appreciate the power of small talk. Most will disregard it as being neither here nor there. What most do not know is that it is every conversation’s ice breaker. It is the best way to ease your tension and also that of your date. I mean, for all you know, she too is nervous. She is sitting down with you for the first time, and just like you, she wants to make an excellent first impression.
Talking about primary and general things such as the weather, the condition of the venue you are in, or a silly comment about people seating in the same place as you, can go a long way in helping you feel a lot less nervous, which significantly reduces freezing up.
