I am black | White British girls don’t want me!

So, someone recently reached out to me for help because girls have over and over again rejected him because of his skin color. Being rejected because of something like your skin color can mess up any man’s self-esteem big time, which can lead one to do unimaginable stuff.

Well, here is the thing guys; people can only bring you down when you allow them to. Regardless of what girls seem to think about your skin color, you need to know and believe that you are unique and have a lot to offer.

Rejection is, however, not easy to face and may lead one down the vicious path of self-defeating thought patterns and behavior. Here is something you should know, though, whichever direction your thoughts are inclined to… you are right. Our thoughts determine what we become. In other words – you are what you believe you are.

Everyone is okay with thinking of themselves as good enough when there is room to see yourself as significant. Why? Because we are brought up to fit in instead of standing out.

So here is how to remind yourself that, despite rejection, you are worthy, and the right person will love you just the way you are.

Challenge negative self-thoughts.

The world is full of people who will beat you from all sides and put you down the slightest chance they get. The last thing you want is to be too hard on yourself. Love yourself a little more than anyone else does.

Instead of focusing on what girls don’t like about you, align your thoughts with things about you that are perfect. In other words, play to your strengths. Skin color is not a weakness; it’s a strength you should focus on.

Accept yourself

You are who you are, and anyone who can’t take that is not worth your time. You will never believe and feel special unless you accept yourself as you are.

Take yourself as a full package deal; you recognize not only your weaknesses but also your strengths. Only this way can you learn to love who you are and boost your self-esteem regardless.
