How to make friends

Hi Guys Today Iain and I are going to talk about how to make friends. No man can survive alone and for this reason we need to learn to master the tips on how to make friends. We all need friends to survive, people who will make our daily lives worth living. However friends do not just happen, they are made and nurtured. It can be quite tricky making lasting relationships that will stand the test of time. The trick is not to make friends of convenience who will be forgotten once that phase in our lives is over but friends who will be there for you through thick and thin. Everyone wants to have the type of friends who will be their safe harbour when the storms of life rage fiercest, the friends who will be ones staunchest supporters and fiercest critics. Friends who will not run away at the first smell of trouble but the ones who will have your back no matter what life throws your way. Confidence First thing you need to know is that you have to be comfortable and confident in yourself. You cannot make friends if you have not accepted yourself for who you really are. People with esteem problems cannot sustain friends because due to their insecure tendencies and ways they end up pushing away the people who cared about them. You have to have a deep understanding of yourself, your strengths, weaknesses, qualities, principles and virtues that you stand for. It is only by coming to terms with your true self that you can open the channel of connecting with others at a close level. It is when you are confident with yourself despite the flaws, when you are at home in your own skin and have accepted that despite the imperfections you are still able to have a high level of connection with others.

How to make friends

Be honest A caring, honest heart goes a long way in attracting people to you. Making friends is a continuous process that when perfected early in life helps one to live a fulfilling life. We all crave for true friends who will stand with us at all times. The desire to have friends should also be accompanied with the quest of transforming ourselves into the kind of friends we would like to have for ourselves. Being honest in our dealings with others attracts and keeps them at our side. Not going behind their backs to laugh about their misfortunes or criticising their flaws goes a long way in building deep lasting relationships with others.
