Conversations ought to be fun. Right?
This has always been a long held belief of mine.
I have, in the distant past, sat in high- powered business meetings that were drier than the salt flats of Bonneville Become A Conversation Master.
…meetings arranged where I was forced to attend.
Were they fun? Nope.
Were they productive? Definitely not!
Were they necessary? Yes and no (most were a complete waste of time).
Become A Conversation Master
They were unproductive because NO personal connections were being formed among the participants, which was a grave mistake.
A personal interaction should be fun at all levels, both business and dating alike.
If it is not, it should not even be happening in the first place.
This is pretty much the reason why most people worry too much about conversations; how to start, and keep them going.
Starting and maintaining dialogue is an art that many people lack.
Why, therefore, is it considered difficult?
Some have traced this problem to the growth of social media with it’s narcissistic tendencies, broadcasting focus on the individual.
All hope is not lost, though.
Conversational skills can be developed, learned, as well as mastered!
A conversation is two-way traffic..
The first rule of communication: always have in mind is that it is neither all about you nor is it all about the other person.
A monologue from either party is a conversation to be avoided.
So always look to strike a balance between speaking and listening.
How To Become A Conversation Master
Being the man who is trying to seduce the woman, you are likely to fall victim to wanting to know more about the woman, hence asking excessive questions.
To avoid making her feel like she is in a Gestapo interrogation room, try offering information about yourself on the topics you are asking her.
For example, instead of asking her what she gets up to on the weekends share with her your own hobbies, no matter how weird or wonderful!
Whichever way she reacts, you’ll be sure that the excitement of the conversation has dialed up a few notches.
And then, before you know it, it escalates into an adventurous dialogue between a man and a woman.
