While they want to take things to the next level, they are afraid of pushing the women away by asking them out too soon or by losing them because of taking so long.
How long should you wait to ask a girl out?
If you are one of those that are trying to figure this out, worry not. We’ve got you. By the end of this presentation, you will have a rather clear idea of what to do. Ask a crush out too soon, and you risk looking needy and desperate while coming on too strong.
Take your time, and she will assume you are not serious; you are playing around, and you’re shy or are a catfish or, even worse, risk losing her to another man who seems sure of what he wants.
How long you should generally take comes done to the situation and your psychology. By psychology, I am talking about the emotions involved. That is greed and fear.
The fear of missing out causes you to act too soon. The fear of messing things up causes you to hold back until the chance is gone. Greed, on the other hand, pushes you to rush into things.
No matter what, wait at least a week
Never meet a potential partner within the first week of knowing each other. You could hint at it but never go for it. The intensity will most likely scare her off even if you have been talking, teasing, and laughing. Asking her out too soon only hints that you are after sex and nothing more than that.
